We were really impressed with AA Cooper having got a few quotes from different companies. They had a friendly and efficient approach from the start. The initial survey was quick and the quote was granular and competitive. We then had a second survey to finalise our own shopping list for fixtures which gave us the freedom to keep our costs under control. Work started and mainly went to time. Only a slight complication put us briefly on pause but it didn’t affect us dramatically. We would get a daily phone call advising us of the next day’s activities.

AA Cooper fitted our new bathroom and cloakroom to an excellent standard of workmanship. We were kept fully informed of the schedule for each day and the team worked extremely hard to ensure everything kept to plan. They were very willing to discuss things with us on the day to make sure we were happy with fitting proposals. Plastering, tiling, plumbing, fixture fitting and electrics were all performed on time and efficiently. The team were very respectful to existing decor and all was left clean and tidy.
We’re really happy with the work completed by AA Cooper, they have serviced our boilers for years and carried our numerous repairs and when it stopped working this time they recommended a new unit given the age. We thought the prices were reasonable and they always do their best to get to us as quickly as possible! Really high quality job with high end finish. Coopers get all the details right so all looks polished. There were different trades for different parts of the job so experts in all their specialisms. The tiler in particular did an incredible job. Very tidy and polite and worked to a schedule so I could pre warn neighbours for any parts of job that would be noisy, so no one complained and neighbours commented how polite and hard working the team was. They’ve done full bathroom fitting for us, a WC refit and most recently some gas related works. Boiler service and replacement of timer and room thermostat
Message: Excellent service, the plumber arrived when agreed, carried out the work thoroughly and fully explained the controls and settings in detail. Would have no hesitation in using AA Cooper again or recommending them.
When I ordered my bathroom from my local store, AA Cooper was their preferred installation company. Ashley came to inspect my old bathroom and the quotation arrived a few days later. When work began, I was surprised that different teams of men arrived to do different elements of work on different days. On day one, the guys arrived on time and protected all my carpets and furniture with a covering – a bit like oversized sticky-tape which stayed in place nicely. It took a day to remove the bath, sink, toilet, tiles and paintwork. The work progressed smoothly day by day – everyone arriving on time. I’m very happy with the finished look.
If I had to make a criticism, on the second day, electricians came to ask my opinion of the down-lighters they suggested and without my knowledge, removed ALL of the existing down-lighters in the bathroom, leaving the installers with no light in which to work by. I had to provide a table lamp.
I have to say, the guys were respectful, punctual, friendly, tidy and professional – and only that one little mishap which was quickly dealt with and put right.
Needless to say, Pauline (telephone contact) was so very helpful and knowledgeable from the beginning.

Second job by AA Cooper. What I like is your enthusiasm and competence with basic plumbing – taps, drips and cisterns. Get the feeling elsewhere that if it’s not a big heating installation, it’s not a priority. Getting our downstairs loo back is a big tick from us! And the bill was pretty reasonable.
We have recently used AA Cooper to rip out our old bathroom and install a new one. We were very impressed with their professionalism from start to finish; from checking in with us to let us know what they were doing and when to expect things to be done, to checking that we were happy with everything. He then sourced the valves, had a quotation emailed, drained the system and replaced all valves within a few hours. Very efficient and professional service with everything left very tidy. Can’t say enough about AA Cooper. We have had the most sensational treatment from them on out two bathrooms – and under adverse, Covid, circumstances. First, the bathrooms look sensational, but what I want to mention is that James, Luke, Scott etc. all went the extra mile (James was project manager, and here almost all the time.) Ashley Cooper came several times to check everything, but James was the go-to guy, and came across bad plumbing and hot water tank that was in danger of collapse, never forgot to hook the little door preventing our dachshunds from getting upstairs, consulted us in absolutely everything (the millimeter) and never sat down. These guys really care about their work. Would recommend forever.

Needed to replace a very old (20 odd years) radiator with a newer smaller one and replace a radiator valve I’d inadvertently broken. Jack came round initially and inspected the work and gave a quote. Scott then came round to complete the work at the date / time arranged.
Scott kept me informed of all the work he was doing and why, also pointed out something that would need to be done with my boiler on the next inspection as he noticed a potential issue and also fixed the upstairs radiator pin when doing the overall heating test.
Again, more than happy with the service.
I was very pleased with the service I received from AA Cooper, my boiler stopped working on new year day and I had arrange with an emergency callout company to come out and they let me down twice, so I tried my luck on the Monday morning thinking I will not be able to get anyone out the same day, but when I spoke to AA Cooper they managed to get someone to me in an hour and it turned out to be a fault with my gas meter and the engineer was ringing round the gas suppliers to arrange to get it fixed. In future they are going to be the first company I call.

I called about some issue with our boiler and made an appointment for a visit a few days later. Later the same day I received a call asking if Scott could attend then as he had finished a job early. Scott was with us shortly after the call and was pleasant and thorough, spending time talking us through what he was doing and never rushing. Further work will be needed to fully rectify the issues and we are in the process of arranging this with AA Cooper.

The person that came was very nice, communicative, gave advice beyond the work they were doing, did the work flawlessly. Two things id suggest to this company: 1) make sure the workers have masks esp in this pandemic time. I had no problem supplying the mask but they should really have their own. 2) they did not get me an exact replacement part, they got a cheaper one which in the end I didnt care but they made it sound like exact part replacement. So some transparency around that would be good. But would use AA Cooper sgain. Quote was fair, they were able to do the job quickly.
Had to have an emergency call out on 22nd June due to no heating or hot water, AA Cooper Plumbing and Heating were able to attend the same day. They arrived on time and located the problem, it was going to require a new part, however in order for us to be up and running they returned to their offices where they had a similar part which could be used so that we would be up and running when till the new part arrived. Finishing the job on Monday 6th July, by fitting the new part and servicing our boiler at the same time.
We had excellent service on both visits, arriving on time and the gents were both polite and efficient, would recommend them and use them again should we need to.

I booked a boiler service before the country was placed under Lockdown. Scott Cooper knocked at the door and stood well away from the door when I opened it. He then waited for me to get out of his way to ensure that we kept at least 2 meters apart. He went straight up into the loft to service the boiler. When he had finished he asked me from the loft to check that the radiators we’re all hot. He then came down, closed the loft hatch and left. I was extremely impressed with the way Scott adhered to the Government’s social rules and carried out the service. I have come to expect good quality service from AA Cooper, and it was as good as ever under the current unusual circumstances.

Polite workmen. New Boiler (two years) so no real problems, which the operative did advise, “It’s new so there would not be any expected problems”. I appreciated the honesty. Gas Safety record certificate and Flue Gas analysis readings provided. Showed how to repressurise boiler. Best part was that shoe covers were worn when checking the house radiators.

Ryan arrived and was really very pleasant from start to finish, he replaced our stopcock on the mains supply which had been leaking and also installed new taps to our kitchen sink. The work was completed in a tidy manner and we were left very happy. I also feel I have to mention something unrelated to plumbing, but wholly relevant to this review. Our elderly neighbour’s fence panel fell over in the wind whilst our plumber – Ryan was at the house. Without hesitation, Ryan went out and put the fence panel back up for them, securing it in place. This is a professional firm with solid reliable workmen. They completed a complete bathroom re-fit and other related work on time and on budget. Each day I was telephoned to ask if I was happy with the work completed and who was scheduled to arrive the following to complete which task. The guys are courteous and very tidy. The problem was quickly identified and, after the plumber obtained the necessary parts from a local supplier, the repair was carried out. The cost covered the parts and the time required to carry out the repair; the latter was in line with the hourly rate that A A Cooper show on their web site.
Ashley and his guys re-fitted our bathroom and toilet. The job was completed on time and on budget. Best of all, this company calls you each day to ask if you had any issues and also confirm who would be attending the following day and what their tasks would be.
The workforce themselves were all extremely courteous, tidy and professional.
